Natural Treatment of Cirrhosis of the Liver

Due to the fact that the liver is one of the hardest working organs in the body and has many roles, there are a number of problems that can occur with the liver. The three main categories these problems fall into are:

1. Disease of the liver cells
2. Problems producing or secreting bile
3. Problems with detoxification

As there are no symptoms that are peculiar to this condition, it is hard to diagnose with any certainty. Among the symptoms that a dog might have are seizures, central nervous system disorder symptoms and other gastro intestinal disorder symptoms, such as diarrhea and vomiting. A bile acid response test is the first step in diagnosing the condition.

Avoid sugar and products containing sugar. People who consume an excessive amount of sugar are much more likely to form gallstones. Avoid all animal fat and meat, saturated fats, like chocolate, fried foods, soft drinks, spicy foods, and full-fat dairy products.

Liver Cirrhosis - A situation of scarring of the liver due to chronic damage as a result commonly of heavy drinking. There is a slight increase of risk of liver cancer developing. Inherited causes - Persons with hemochromatosis, a genetic problem of excess iron deposits in the body have a higher chance of developing liver cancer.

It is very likely that you have experienced one or more of the symptoms of a liver that is not working at peak performance. Such as:

Abdominal swelling (bloating),

Allergies,

Constipation,

Dark urine,

Digestive problems,

Dry skin,

High cholesterol,

Fatigue,

Headaches,

High blood pressure,

As these fat droplets build up, the liver starts to produce more enzymes, which can inflame liver tissue. The inflammation can cause scarring and cirrhosis, in which the liver becomes hardened and liver function, is reduced.

There’s a difference between saying liver meaning liver organ rather than the liver channel – and gall bladder organ versus the gall bladder channel. Now the liver and gall bladder channels are the pathways where this information moves along, and eventually they lead to the organ itself.

The diagnosis of Hepatitis C is not usually made during the early stages of the disease since persons who are infected by it do not exhibit its symptoms.

Those who experience some symptoms during the early or acute stages of the disease do not usually seek medical treatment. The reason for this is that the symptoms are not serious enough to warrant medical treatment.

Herbal Remedies - Milk Thistle is recommended as a herbal remedy for liver damage. In addition the ayurvedic formulation Liv 52 is also well known for detoxification and liver support in cirrhotic and pre-cirrhotic conditions. Its ingredients include Capers (Capparis spinosa), Wild chicory (Cichorium intybus)
Arjuna (Terminalia arjuna), Negro coffee (Cassia occidentalis), Yarrow (Achillea millefolium), Tamarisk (Tamarix gallica).
